In today's fast-paced world, it is not uncommon to feel overwhelmed by the challenges that life throws our way. Finding healthy outlets to express and process our emotions is crucial for our overall well-being. This is where art therapy comes in, offering a creative and therapeutic approach to self-exploration and healing.

At Surfacing Art Therapy Studio, we specialise in providing a safe and supportive space for adults to engage in art therapy. Sessions are tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of each individual and will likely be a mixture of talking and creative therapy.
You may be struggling with stress, anxiety or low self-esteem. Perhaps you feel lost or confused about who you are and would like to explore your idenity. You may have suffered trauma and want to process your experiences in a safe and supportive environment, so that you can move forward. Or you may wish to explore the relational patterns in your life in more depth.
Together we will detemine areas of focus, goals, expectations and duration of therapy. We will try out various art forms such as painting, drawing, clay, collage, music and more to see which mediums work best for you. Once we have agreed areas of work, we will use these creative tools to explore your thoughts, emotions, experiences and relationships.
